Adam "Blank" Francis started his musical journey at the age of 11 after a visit to his uncle's studio, in which he co-created an instrumental composition. As a child Francis did not pursue any musical training.
However, with the help of his uncle, at the age of 17 he started producing local bands and making electronic
dance music and hip-hop instrumentals/remixes under the alias “AFbeats”. He was spotted on MySpace by Will Walder BBC Radio Wiltshire, where he received his first radio play and in June 2010 he was featured as Artist of the week on the BBC Introducing show.
Francis received his first acoustic guitar as a birthday present from his parents on the 11 September 2001, but he did
not take up learning to play it until 2009.
Since 2009 he has been honing his skills as a guitarist and Singer-Songwriter.
In April 2013 Francis started working with Scott Fitzgerald, a music producer based in Bath who plays Keys for a band called the Dead Flowers.
Francis planned to release an EP early 2014 however this was not complete and instead was released as a Demo EP in April 2016
